Serving cocktails inspired by the elements (fire, water, earth, air, and life—go, planet!), Agimat takes the cocktail experience to a different level. As much of their ingredients as possible are foraged, with Kalel Demetrio, also known as the Liquido Maestro, designing each drink to highlight the unique flavors that the local landscape has to offer.
Agimat is equal parts presentation as it is flavor experience.
If it’s your first time at Agimat, it’s fun to order the Ritual ng Agimat, a drink that embraces the performative as a part of the drinking experience. The drink itself is sweet and very citrusy, and stronger than it looks even if some alcohol is burned off in the process. And while you’re there, try the dallas filipino restaurant designed by Chef Niño Laus, whose pushes the boundaries as we haven’t seen before in this beautiful celebration of the Philippines from the ingredients on your plate to the agimat pendants hanging on the ceiling.
